Eureka

Back to working on Eureka. I've been working on tissue covers for those personal size tissue packs, finishing about 40. This pattern is so fast and finished results are great! Planning on selling them at a local sale. Now, time to work on the Eureka quilt blocks.

Mason Jar Quilt

After a change of plans today, I decided to stop by a local quilt shop and pick up a few fabrics for my Mason Jar Quilt Wall Hanging. I have been looking for a pattern but have not been able to find one, so I designed it myself. Will need to go e-shopping for more vegetables, but this is going to be so quilt and I think, very quick to put together. We will see....pictures to post as soon as I get some blocks together.

Eureka

It's time to work on the Eureka quilt if I want to get it into the Chambersburg Quilt Guild show in July! So much to do....so little time!
Pictures to be posted soon of the progress. Lots of blocks done, but still a bunch to finish. Wow, this is going to be so pretty.

Back to the long arm

DeLoa & Dave Jones came yesterday to visit and work on my Freedom APQS long arm. I need to oil it more, but other than that it is doing great. They raised the entire machine which improved my field of vision tremendously! Wow...who would have though! I've left the 'doodle sheet' on the machine and have been working on some new designs, working on doing some heavy detailed designs. Too much fun. I get so much into the work of the day that I haven't taken time to work on new ideas and hone my craft.
The Log Cabin ornaments were finished around midnight the night before the Released Time thank you picnic and I can't believe I forgot to give each of my volunteers my gift to them! Oh my....where is my brain?!?!

Back to play on the Long Arm

No quilting today!!

OK, so I planned to finish the Log Cabin ornaments. The arrival of quadruple goat kids stopped that from happening! Sugar had 2 does and 2 buck kids today. Unfortunately the second buck did not survive a difficult delivery, but all three of the others are in great shape and beautiful. Maybe tonight I can get a little bit of quilting done. Hope so.

Beginning A Quilt Blog

I've been a quilter for over 20 years, and putting a quilt together is a joy even if it is a challenge, but putting a blog together...whew! But, I'll learn!
I'm working on Log Cabin quilt block ornaments which when finished will only be 31/2 ". These will be ornaments that I am giving as Thank You's for the volunteers that work with me for our local Released Time program. Hope to have those finished tomorrow.
